The school has a full fledged Physical Education Department headed by an energetic and a very enthusiastic team. The department manages the conduct and organization of the physical activities as sports, athletics and gymnastics. The school holds inter-house, inter-school and inter-state tournaments in all the major games annually. Here, it would be in place to mention that the school has been three times consecutively representing the state of Jammu and Kashmir in Subrato Mukerjee Cup Football Tournament held in New Delhi in the year 2002, 2003 and 2004. Similarly the school has been winning various medals and shields in other games such as Thang-Ta Championship Boys/Girls organized by District Youth Services And Sports Srinagar, District Srinagar Carom Championship organized by J&K State Sports Council Kashmir and several other competitions from time to time.
